Our Mission
At Après Mahjong, we bring people together through the fun of American Mahjong. We offer lessons, events, and curated merchandise designed to make the game approachable, social, and stylish.Our mission is simple: to grow the Mahjong community across Utah by creating experiences that are welcoming, engaging, and easy to enjoy—whether you’re brand new or already love the game.
From your first lesson to your next game night, we create a space where people can connect, learn, and have fun.

Lesson Options
Après Mahjong is based in Park City, Utah and offers American Mahjong lessons, leagues, and events.
We teach American Mahjong lessons to groups of all sizes in Park City, Utah and its surrounding areas. If you are interested in a private lesson, we can arrange that as well as corporate events and private tournaments.
First, our Intro Lesson 1 lasts around two hours and we bring everything for game play. Players do not need any past experience to join-we start with the basics.
Then, the Intro Lesson 2 takes 60-90 minutes to reinforce your first lesson and gain confidence with rules and strategies.
Once you've completed those, join us for an Intermediate Lesson to learn more strategy, house rule options, and more. Or, come to an Open Play and get support as you play with others.
Many of our clients book private lessons where they invite friends to learn with them and we bring everything needed to teach, learn, and play.
